The installation of a RAIDZONE disk array solution in a computer consists of two steps. You should install Windows NT on your computer system before you begin installing RAIDZONE. We call this Step 0. Step 1 is to install the RAIDZONE hardware in your computer. This includes one or more RAIDZONE PCI controller cards, one or more SmartCan enclosures, and one or more ATA disk drives. Step 2 is to install the RAIDZONE software, and use it to configure and partition your disk array. Here again, in point form, are the installation steps:
