4.4.2 Partition - Delete a Partition

Before you delete a partition, make certain that all the data on the partition has been backed up, and that no data on the partition is still needed. RAIDZONE will not delete a partition if any files residing in the partition are still open.

To delete a partition

1. Pick a disk that is in the partition you want to delete, then use the mouse to select the partition from the right side of the disk. If the partition includes multiple disks, all other members are automatically selected.
2. From the Partition menu, choose Delete Partition.
3. RAIDZONE will warn of data loss and prompt for confirmation. Choose the Yes button to delete the partition, orNo to leave the partition intact.
